Numismatics is the art of collecting coins. It is an interesting world: New memorable coins come out all the time, while old coins will always be collectors items.
My conclusion on numismatics is quite simple: Buy coins when they are young, wait for a (really, really) long time and then sell them with a high profit.
I like the thrill of finding rare coins, and the thrill of completing a collection. I wanted to put that thrill in a simulator.
And so, Numismatics, the game, was born!
The Journey to Beta
The idea first sparked back in early November. After a month of dedicated development, the first trial version (v0.00.0000) was released on December 5th. The feedback was invaluable and led to the first beta release (v0.00.0001) on December 13th!
Since the beta, I've been hard at work adding new features and polishing the experience. Recent updates include UI improvements for debt pricing and a helpful autosave trigger after you load a backup. To help ensure a fair experience and discourage save file editing, I've also implemented Base64 encoding for the save data.

In the game, you'll get to experience the excitement of coin collecting without the real-world costs. You will discover new coins, build your collection, and learn to play the market to turn a profit. It’s a game of patience, strategy, and the joy of completing a set.
