James Flint, a work in progress.

For a few weeks, I've been spending a lot of time writing a story. Originally it was supposed to be a set of letters that would be spread out in a game. I've not even started working on the game yet, but the story is developing faster than Bethesda. (Okay, bad example... I've once seen a rock developing faster than Bethesda.)

The story is told trough letters, notes and news articles, collected by and mostly written by James Flint.

James Flint is a journalist in 1995. The story starts when he reports on a murder in Vondelpark, Amsterdam. Soon he finds out the victim was his sister.

James doesn't wait for the police to find the killer. He actually finds him rather easily. He kills the killer, and becomes a killer in the process.

He describes how he enjoyed the murder of his sisters killer. He talks about euphoria and he calls it pure ecstasy. He's definitely going to do it again.

Trough his letters and the news clippings, we get a detailed look behind the certain of a man while he quickly loses touch with reality.

The letters and other documents are presented in the prologue as found footage. But in reality, of course, it was all made up and written by me.

I am not sure what I want to do with the story when it is finished. I think about releasing it page by page on a weblog. Every day a new article/letter? That should be doable, since I write a few every day... I have more than enough to not write for a whole month, and still post a new entree every day.

However, the story isn't for everyone... It is a story about a man committing horrible murders, which he will describe in his letters. There won't be any pictures, but the writing it self could be upsetting to some.

I'll keep you guys updated.
